Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihat Çankaya
Electrical electronics Engineer
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihat ÇANKAYA was born in Konya. He graduated from Selçuk University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He completed his Master's Degree at Necmettin Erbakan University and his PhD at Konya Technical University in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He worked on jet filters, fans, system diagnostics and control theory. A 3rd generation representative of the milling profession, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihat ÇANKAYA has worked in various positions in factories producing flour, semolina and pasta, and has taken part in various projects in important companies of the sector in Italy, Switzerland, France and Germany. He currently serves as a faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University and is the Energy Management Coordinator at Necmettin Erbakan University. He speaks English and Italian. His work focuses on the following areas.
- Reducing the energy consumption of fans and blowers used in cement factories,
- Reducing the energy consumption of fans and blowers in the wood (MDF, chipboard, OSB) industry,
- Increasing the efficiency of jet filter systems and reducing compressed air consumption,

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihat Çankaya has articles within the scope of SCI, TUBITAK and R&D project management, and patents for the sector. In addition to his academic duties, he designs and manufactures high-tech process control devices with his company JETMASTER Technology and offers special solutions for the heavy industry sector.
